u werent on discord the day nitehawk showed a 300% ember on a chanter were you? it buffed his damage 3000%(30x damage).

1 ember is plenty, even nuts that dual weilding stacks embers to both weapons.

You raise a good point. Perhaps one slot is enough to avoid dual wielders getting too much benefit. Shrugs. I’m sure u guys will work out the appropriate scope/balance of benefits. But I’m just hoping we don’t start seeing a bunch of ridiculous, contradictory or convoluted item names floating around. Otherwise we may as well start looking forward to seeing a “trolling crown of torment of the hawk” or “giant pointy stinger of death” etc soon featuring lol.

This is gold. Make sure prefix/suffix does not show up in combat text. In fact, if combat text only shows "base item" then the possibility exists to rename items as rewards without causing confusion. No matter how creative you get renaming your void blade, during combat it still reads "X attacks you with her void blade". Only actual examination of the item shows it's full name. I can see an argument for the full name showing up when you look over a player and that would be an option, but at no point should the combat text start showing the prefix/suffix. "X attacks you with her Barbaric Void Blade of Fortitude but you delfect most of the blow with your Blocking Divine Deflector of Health for 9 damage." Multiply that x4 or x5 per round and the wall of text becomes problematic
