How does Guardian smite compare to Priest smite, is it the same strength?

If it is that means you won't be doing more DPS than a ninja/zerker and if smite was strengthened then bringing a priest would probably still be the more favourable option

Maybe they need something like the BoL from rok, as a sword with a strong bane

Guardians deals more damage.

Eventually was going to do a BOL type weapon yeah.

I think a BoL type weapon would be nice. And the spells are very helpful.

What about chr based heal instead of int. Paladin wee supposed to have min chr way back in the day. This way chr would be increasingly helpful for a paladin in both heal and health.

It's not bad, but then paladins wouldn't have any search ability. Unless you're going for that.

Give guardians a massive MR boost.
Considering how strong mages are right now (which im fine with), and that guardians are underplayed, this will make them kick ass a bit more.

guards are already practically immune to chanters as it is.

pally/guard spellpower for everything should be chr. sight should grant bonus int for searching.

chr should help with the low hps which is one of the major problems. cant protect anything if u die in 2 mediocre backstabs, when the barbarian you are protecting would survive 4...

this class needs shield abilities and shield ac buff spells for blocking. maybe aegis boosts shield directly? maybe an ability like bard song that you can run to boost shield.

/bestow shield 1(power) - gives paladin shield bash and a small damage boost to assist
/bestow shield 2(defense) - grants 1 ac to paladins shield for every 5 chr, and 4% MR
/bestow shield 3(guardian)- increases healpower and reduces mana costs

Plz explain how guard is immune to chanters? I don't really think they need a MR buff or something but wat lol

I do like those ideas tho. More dynamic gameplay would be sweet.

guards get p p p p 15 10. they get hit on avg 2/4 and heal 120-150 x 4. it is impossible to die lol. cant base everything on 9 wizards rolling up for a drive-by. ive rolled on a guardian with a chanter 100s of times cant even kill them with div

little sekrit - mages kill nothing with potions, trick to it is ; you have to actually drink them so you arent severely wounded when they get there you cheap asses.....lol

new spell:

Vision - an improved version of sight that allows the devout to create immense light revealing hidden enemies around them.
cost 15 mana - reveals all targets in room at 50% rate.
