Race suggestion, faerie

Postby Styx » Wed Nov 22, 2017 8:03 pm

I'd like to suggest a faerie class, it would lean more towards magical attack based

Stats can be up to more so of the player base but to fill the int gap between gnome and elf.

with the knowledge of wisdom based for an elder we should not exceed max's but at most to have one capable of being equal at best compared to a elemental / gnome elder. However a faerie is as closely to nature then a gnome or an elemental. They would have low life but the best possible dodge rate, after all they can fly. Also if the health is to low then they will just die way to easy.

13 24 16 22 22 24 , kinda what im proposing atm, they would be very charismatic and beautiful, but also very low str, its not a fighter class, but with 22 wis so even with druid morph bonus and 13 str (guessing str upon morph atm) they would be close to being equal as an elder with a possible high chr value, in bear form the dammage reduction etc and the lowest health, even below a gnome, cause after morph, agi will jump making a difference.

updated after a post and i just got home.

13 24 17 22 22 24, edited for the 1 end up, it's a ling after agi ajusted, but has int and wis instead

Fine idea in theory but 15 end is just...bad. I can't see anyone doing that or thinking the trade off for 1 extra agi is worthwhile.

It'd be good for levelling, ok for 1vs1 pvp (depends on the opposition), but group fights or oads (without protection) it'd be... eh nah.

15 24 15 22 18 24 is fine i think. can always bump up the end to 16.

i was figuring enough allocation for atleast p p p p p x with a Plus 1. which in any case leaves a caster faerie with 10 24 15 22 18 15. the 15 chr which is 48 hps on avg (64 short of ling 52 from gnome). then add in the plus 1 and it can cover the hp differential or make faerie too good imo, which is why i thought 15.

on the bard side it would end up something like 15 24 15 10 13 25 which is 994 hp avg, or 15 24 16 10 13 24 which is 1020.

either way the race would be too powerful with more endurance. as a caster its just a ling with even more damage. as a ling caster is my main i think that is very OP. as a druid its max wisdom would need to remain relatively low so we dont end up with 30 str 27 agi super cats. bard seems fine unless songs get broken. stalker seems fine aswell would be a weaker version of halfling with a little more mr or pet heal power(ive or take 3ish points in wis/int) and some pet stats for less character damage.

being a caster with high agi and high damage is the only concern i have. its just a caster thats weakness is other casters, which we already have with halfling. in the end it would just be bushman with -50 hps and +20 damage per hit. which m 100% certain thats broken..

They are a magical creature that lives one with nature. They should be more then capable if being a good druid. Stats exactly I'm not positive due atm cause of morph bonus.

15 24 15 22 18 24

druid:

no +1 - cat: 23.8 26 15 x 18 x / bear: 22.1 25 17.7 x 18 x

+1 wis - cat: 25.7 26.3 15 x 19 x / bear: 23.5 25.1 18 x 19 x

weak morphs but still very high dodge.

13 24 16 22 22 24

no +1 - cat 31 27.1 16 x 22 x / bear: 27.4 25.5 19.8 x 22 x

+1 agi - cat: 31 28.1 16 x 22 x / bear: 27.4 26.5 19.8 x 22 x

broken morphs imo.

from the lore aspect, druids are an order of humans that dedicate themselves to protecting and keeping a natural balance of a forest. elves faeries etc are naturally one with the forest so its a mute point. they would be more apt to call a bear/wolf/cat to their side as to turn into one. high agility and high wisdom is already broken on druids, can barely hit them as it is. elf and ling for example

most people use elemental druids for the 32 strength and the drawback is 22 agi(still within the hittable range). dropping 1 strength for an extra 5-6 agi is crazy, doesn't matter what hp loss.

Elemental has 20 end thougg, compared to a 16 end ? That's kinda significant so agi should be higher by far to make up the difference, lower the str value, it was never ment to be a melee fighter , druid was only option due to wis, so lower str so on morph it's not op? Like 12 even
