New Class ideas

Ok so, I took a break for awhile and I’m trying ease myself back in and as I’ve wandered around I’ve noticed a lot of new things. I have to say I’m impressed with all the hard work that has been put into this game during my absence. It has me excited to play again. That said, I’ve thought of some class ideas pulled from various games I’ve played over the years with a twist I think would be fun for this game. Not all of these may work but are worth a thought.

—Demigod

A druids cousin capable of morphing into a...

Frog - moderate str increase - moderate agl increase
-Capable of a tongue attack with a very small chance to para for a very brief amount of time
-swims without a boat
-reaches high cliffs or ledges

Snake - low str increase - high agl increase
-capable of hiding and performing a poisonous attack dealing 3.5x (adjustable) damage

Bird - mod str increase - high agl increase
-Places only they can reach
-automatic sneak effect upon morph

—Sniper

A sneaky class that could be used as another bow wielder or with a new weapon type (gun) created

-can hide and attack without being revealed (not backstabbing)
-attacking while hidden has increased accuracy but lower damage output
-after 5-10 attacks while hidden must reload/refill quiver which /unhides and consumes a whole turn
-5 actions at lvl 25

Next is my least favorite of these but...eh.

—Demolitionist

This class would require a new weapon type (i.e. grenade launcher)

-fires different types of shells similar to ranger arrows; venom, blind, slow, and 5 tiers of straight damage. All must be purchased, higher damage shells costing more. All hitting every non-party member on screen.
-can set explosive damaging traps
-certain walls would be destroyable only by this class

—Death Knight

I saw some earlier posts that gave me some ideas for this physical/magical mix

-Life Steal-mod physical attack restoring half of the damage (or so) as hp to the attacker
-Dark aura-expend 5-10 mana per tick to increase damage 10-20% (could expend health)
-mod magic damage spell for versitilaty
-Mana Absorb-a version of meditate for mana (manatate)

And that’s pretty much it for now. I’d love to see these debated and implemented if they are received well. They are, of course, subject to change to properly fit the needs of this game. ;)

Alchemist

Magic slayer class ,,, reverse of physical backstab

Mana stealer , class based on stealing mana from magic classes

Hex class

Blood mage, sacrifice blood or life to heal or injury others

No biggie. You could call it the-other-class-that-morphs for all I care lol. Just trying to come up with some fun ideas for everyone. :D
