Monk>Sensei>Grandmaster
Necromancer>Death Mage>Lich
Sorceror>Enchanter>Archmage
Knight>Cavalier>Champion
Thief>Cutpurse>Trickster
Barbarian>Berserker>Chieftan
Paladin>Guardian>Templar
Acolyte>Cleric>Priest
Bard>Minstrel>Troubadour
Druid>Elder Druid>Ancient Druid (really couldnt think of anything better, yep decided to stick with this).
Assassin>Slayer>Executioner
Hunter>Ranger>Stalker

My personal updated list (all credits to other people mainly).
With regards to the thief class. I've always viewed them as rellying on guile. Sneak around, rob, run away. Bandits, briagands, marauders, highway men (or highway women, lets not be sexist!) et al i view as using force rather than guile, but meh, thats my opinion and it seems we all have different opinions.

I'll be honest... If Slayer isn't the final title for assassin, I'm going to be super sad. Maybe it's nostalgia. I'm not sure, but I've always loved Slayer as a title lol.

I'm partial to these few names for various classes:

Huntsman
Cutthroat
Elementalist
Mystic
Spellsinger
Arcanist
Blademaster
Archer
Infiltrator
Vindicator
Wayfinder
Mercenary
Pathfinder
Plainstrider

D&D offers a lot of variation..

It'd be neat if some classes branched more like sorc could be Pyromancer, Chronomancer, etc but that's down the road stuff.

Make the final class name for rangers Pathfinder. I didn't know how much I needed that in my life until right now (thanks Keith).
Heave ho, thieves and beggars, never shall we die...
Mahariel | 25 Brigand
Starlyte | 20 Cleric
Starstryke | 25 Stalker

Assassin>Slayer>Nightblade
Necromancer>Death Mage>Warlock (Lich is normally implied that it is some sort of monster, no? I think Warlock is badass here)

Nightblade is good.
Dont quite agree with the Lich though, the end game for necro's is usually to become a lich, and I think warlock would be a different class (Warlocks are male witches, I see them more as demon fondlers personally). Ive saw other games with Lich as a class (or perk).
Perhaps we should get some kind of poll going?

Ps. I really need to break the habit of going afk on spawn spots!

Another title for the druid class could be soothsayer, shaman, or wildling

I guess warden is out of the picture or else that would ideal for the ranger class. I can only come up with lame stuff like Natureblade.

What about Defiler or something like Death Tempest for the necromancer, if Lich isn't entirely correct?

seems i lied about last posting, i thought id post this before i forget
how about disposing of fighter/rogue/healer etc and giving classes a first level name as well

squire - knight
rogue - thief
acolyte - cleric
apprentice - sorcerer
etc

they could still train in the usual beginners guilds... actually you could even make just one big guild for all the classes of low level, then they need to find specialised teachers (the usual monk guild, knight guild etc)

Decided to bump this (monk to ninja still does not fit for me - would be nice to see ninja as a separate class instead, and samurai!).
