Protecting Monsters

Postby daedroth » Wed Mar 13, 2019 4:01 am

Here's an idea.
Leave monsters protect-able, but... they attack the person protecting them and they never miss (protector has their back on them, intercepting all blows on their behalf after all, maybe even just give them a + to hit/zap and a better chance of doing full damage), monster thinks: ooo easy target, monsters are not very grateful eh).
This makes a certain kind of sense and will make the tactic still use-able but very risky.

Optional
Healing monsters:
Have them treat the healing as hostile magic (they try to resist it, maybe even make it heal for half, as it does with undead).
Going by a previous thread from ages ago though, healing magic can't be set up as hostile...?

I love sheep.
