Ember Online

I found this background pack and just wondering what people thought.

Part of me thinks it looks good, another part of me thinks it looks cartoonish.

Also are we incorporating day and night time into the game? Is that possible with this art?

I like it but we would have to find matching art for it because only 50 images is not going to work for the whole game. I feel like finding matching art might be kind of hard you'd prob want to match all the items and npcs with it too idk.

Day/Night we should have yes. It is already built in, needs to be used. I don't think we'll find alot of matching art when it comes to this sort of stuff, not until we get a proper art team.

Feels a bit pricey. We honestly need to look at those blender files because im pretty sure they can be easily be changed for a day/night scenario. If no one does it then I'll eventually do it since I've played with blender in the past and have a general idea on how to do it.

If anyone can find a decent artist who can do a lot of work I am willing to put forth a few hundred dollars to help fund it... provided that I like their style of work.

Didn't someone post and collect a ton of free to use ones? There were also some great looking paid ones are those being used?

You think when you or someone gets time they could be added to the folder with numbers etc so people could start using them in their areas?

I would take on this task but I am out of town til sunday (when I get back i assume the whole game will be done? )

I can save them as numbers, does it matter how they are numbered or just 000001.jpg etc?
