Ember Online

I just thought I should say Great Game. I am an old timer from ROK circa '98 and this game brings back the same feeling and a lot of the positive feel but with a new a refreshing take.

Very nice work.

Just started this week and haven't had time to get through finding crabs and dummies but I am enjoying it so far. Easy to get into. (Though that training dummy doesn't seem to want to die no matter how many times I hit it with a purple beam.)

I haven't seen another player yet but I'm guessing I am still in Noob City.

Biggest wish is that this could be played through a browser, an Android app, or blowtorch. I see that may be coming once the world is more established. The biggest reason I have not played more is because this is not mobile and my time in front of a PC is short. So making this mobile would be like awesome sauce with sprinkles.

Anyway, keep up the good work.

make sure you are summoning a training dummy from arena in seamoor or island start area. the divtest dummies dont die

That was always a mouthful.

We still have to finish up all end game content before any major client style changes, ie tablet or Android sdk.

/me hopes on android for my phone lol.

And yes if we did tablet the online numbers would go through the roof, but end game content needs finished first plz.

Edit, darksong, if you follow the quests they are helpful in learning most of the major areas of the game, as well as a means to earn gold so you can level up. If you need help just ask in discord.

Darksong - hi! As mentioned there are training dummies (the room with 5, 1 of each divinity) that are unkillable. When you're on make sure to use the /newbie chat channel if you need help with anything.

Not sure a tablet version will be any time soon. Would need some real UI wizardry to make it work well.
