Class suggestion, warlock / witch

Magic based attack damage, this is the magic form of a slayer.

Similar Combo of spells to chanter and necromancer.

Difference is main damage, takes two spells to cast, first is to cast a hex spell, then cast a dammage spell, similar dammage wise to slayer.

Cloth armor and light helm, stone skin to make up difference

Weapons similar to necro, they can use a dagger, they wont have any pets, they are based on a magic attack

Spells

Fade - Its a magic user, that has been trained how to fade out of view instead of /sneak
Power - more as a useful tool for parties
Dagger (insert favorite magic name here) - main damage spell, if a hex or enchantment is cast upon an imposing player, then dagger will do x3 damage (insert appropriate damage amount to values) and break the hex and or enchantment of opposing player. its a spell therefor based upon int
Hex - its what it says, you hex the enemy to (based upon what player input thinks) to hurt enemy
Stoneskin - they will need some kind of armor
Slow (or something similar spell wise) - its a hex spell

Any comments and or improvemeets etc, if people dont like the idea of a magic slayer, then i guess it wont happen, lol

Edit could use fade spell, so hidden for attack

Would be pretty OP lol. I like the idea altho you're kinda guaranteeing you round any orc/lizard lvlers. You probably can't have magic damage that high when you have over 70% hit rate on low wis.

Then to adjust difficulty, set the spells themselves based on chance to hit, in this case int vs int, then set the. Heck to show the ability to hit based upon standards equal to slayer ?

Could be op. But since a hex can be resisted it won't be 2 slam attempts every 8 sec. That also significant ly lowers odds of a dbl hit. The class would be useful against lizards and pretty much useless vs high Mr.

Correct, but the spell and or skill could determine the odds of to hit in the dice roll. In this case it could even use int vs int, very bad odds on casters but deadly on others. However , slayers have no weakness in ability to backstab, which would make a difference , true? Backstab is just straight to hit based on agi, and could set the hex spell, and or a modified fade spell so they can /hide and move and or just hex for increased dammage.

This could be usefull or useable in ya knoe, I'm rambling.

one of the main problems would be, their damage would be like a necro, because for balance it wouldn't exceed a chanter obviously.

so if their max is 150 say (450 breaking hex) is a 900 max round. maybe 1000 with great equips.

endgame chanter gear with div is around 240 max hit. and chanter isnt wasting 1/2 its unaffects trying to set a hex.

im not against the class, it will just join the acct next to necro and other lizard fryers. and likely unused because you are basically increasing your targets mr by 33% in comparison to just using enchanter.

C fade toon
C kill enemy

Mr won't be affected and in this example kill would be an upped dammage spell of blast. Etc that checks if fade is cast first

might aswell make them a rogue caster and give them hide.

fade replaces autosneak
they get light armor and lose stoneskin
give them wither instead of Dual wield
slow would be ok unless they get 4 stabs in a row too often in 1v1s
power seems to not fit, but guess it dont matter

It would still be 2 attacks just like slayer, fade check, I'm using fade loosely as a term to be common

But it's a chanter whom is capable of magic backstab. Difference is magic vs knife,

So cloak, light helm, stoneskin, fade, magic backstab attack atm, could add something to make it unique ?

fade costs 20 mana, it fizzles , and you can still be attacked it would be bad lol
