Achievements

We are working on an Achievements system so post your ideas here:



Ill get the ball rolling.


player kills 10,100,1000,10000 - Title: Player hunter, Player killer, Player Slayer, Soul Collector (maybe you could pick one title to tag on to your character lookover. Lateralus the Soul Collector is etc...

npc kills
quests completed
daily quests completed
zones explored
hourlies killed
bosses killed
Events won?
PP collected?
Dragon kill shots
date account created (maybe a founder tag if player created within the first month of launch?)(beta tag if account created during beta)
auctions sold / bought (could be like auctioneer title or something?)
items crafted
items disenchanted


Could also offer some kind of minimal rewards for these achievements too gold, pp?



Anyways post some ideas for achievements and if you feel like it titles for the achievements (if not we got writers that are bored probably)

Hours played
PK kills
PK deaths
Most gold in an account
% of map explored

I see no reason why they should be rewarded with anything besides the custom descript.

Ideas:

-Lvled 2/6/12 different classes to max lvl.
-Did xxx amount of damage to crimson dragon
-Healed players for total of xxxxx hit points
-Visited every temple in Ciruin
-completed every quest
- Achievement for each oad boss

Titles are enough as prize in my opinion.

I'm assuming achievements will be tied to account, and you'll be able to view someone else's achievements, like you would view their Xbox live profile?

I'm also assuming quests with progress will show the counter increasing so you can track progress?

If so:

New players invited to game (Using your referral link) - (running tally), with achievements at intervals (1, 5, 15)
Squares visited (running tally), with achievements at intervals (100, 1000, 5000)
Quests completed (running tally), with achievements at intervals (1, 5, 15, 50)
Damage inflicted to players (running tally), achievements at intervals (1000, 10000, 100000 - review these numbers maybe)
Damage inflicted to monsters (running tally), achievements at intervals (5000, 50000, 500000 - review these numbers maybe)
Monsters tamed
Monsters killed
Players killed
Areas visited (based off of area name, maybe have these tied only to the control crystal zones, and be a nice achievement for newbies to complete, maybe give them a shield of the compass for completing it, equal to lvl 20 emerald shield?)
Gold robbed (Thief class only) - 1000, 25000, 50000
Healing damage on players only (5000, 30000, 75000)
Characters levelled to 25
Damage done to world bosses
Control crystal captured
# Potions drunk
# Events entered
# Mini games played (when they're put in)
# Deaths

Maybe have some hidden achievements where the requirements aren't listed and it's a surprise when you unlock em
i.e. fall to 1hp and survive
Die to queen scorpion in the mines
Die to crazed furnace guy
Try to go through a rope square without having a rope
Equip first purple item
Equip first gold item

I assume we'll get a pop up message with the name of the achievement when we unlock it?
If so achievements on the following:

First death to player - Have the achievement named something encouraging them to level up and get revenge, or get some guild members to hunt em.
First death to monster - Something about did they forget to use potions or something?

We are! But it won't be in this update coming. It's a bigger project to do but it will be in after the next update 8)
