18 str, 22 agl, 18 end, 21 int, 21 wis, 22 chr is what i meant, i was putting the numbers in as i saw them on character screen :p
so stats as they are now, but -1 end +1 agl

I think giving them 22int would be worse than the original 22wis . No one would pick gnomes then since now the damage would be the same now :P


I think he was using the newfangled str, agi, end, int, wis, chr layout. Not the REAL layout which is str, int, agi, end, wis, chr.

So he was referring to 18, 21, 22, 18, 21, 22. So that was 22 agi, not int.

How would people feel about Elves getting +1 agi but -1 end?

In a stat base sense, the current work, and I think that would work too. The Elves getting +1agi and -1end would make sense to me becaues it's also makes the half elves the 'middle ground' of the two.

Think it makes them a bit too powerful imo an agi is worth more than an end point.

I think they should stick at what they are at if not you'd prob need to take away another pooled stat point or something?

Elves only had 18 end on ROK anyways, so going from 19 like it is now to 18 won't bother me any, and gaining 22 agi without having to +1 it would be nice. They'd still be a sexy choice for elders that way too.

Half-Elf

Intelligence=20
Agility=21
Endurance=19
Wisdom=20
Charisma=21

Yeah, I like it. Makes Elf and Dark Elf more physically similar.

If this were a table top RPG like D&D or Pathfinder I'd be screaming that the races aren't near balanced. You will probably need to revisit the racial abilities later. The stats can be kept the same but if one has a 102 stat distribution and another has 112 but the 112 has greater extra abilities it leads to an imbalance.

I'm forgoing ling to make an orc next to test. Seen enough lings running around so other people can test them :P

Another thing that could help keep elves more in line is to drop their wisdom a bit. Right now they're the sexiest choice for an elder because they get max wisdom, elf racial MR, and killer agility, with minimal hit to damage over say, human or half-elf (the two most popular elder races on ROK). Bring it down to 20-21 instead of 22, they lose some of their status as best elder fodder, but are still an attractive choice.
