Re: PK system and XP

...not blast people uselessly....en masse. I heard that used to be the thing to do though. Seriously why is this even a thread? There has to be a ballance. There needs to be some kind of exp loss or else pking has no incentive. PKers can take it too far as well. I banned a couple people in RoK for ...

We'd have to add in bypasses for the towns you have to go THROUGH though. Would suck to be stuck in Kakagi/Snailmint with no way to go to other areas. Almost as bad as being stuck in Karnath/Ant Hill

Re: PK system and XP

I think some level of exp loss should be put in. There should be a limit though to either/or how much can be lost or total lost per level. For 25ers though, I'd suggest something a bit different. How about if they die to someone UNDER level 25, it immediately kicks in a 5 minute sickness to their ac...

Re: Race Idea: Forsaken

When I through out an undead "Ghul" race, I spouted pretty much those same stats. Then I realized it was just a variant goblin. Ultimately though, we've got such a good spread on stats that anything we make is going to be similar to something unless it's uber weak or over powered. PS: If i...

Anything gotten already won't be changed. From this point forward though it should be fixed.

Re: instadeath.

Maybe we need to codify the definition of Hardcore in this game. The other games that I play which have "casual/veteran/hardcore" events/settings/campaigns have a nasty progression from one to the next. Consider it like Warcraft's Raid difficulty. They have Raid Finder (casual), Normal (ve...

Maybe we didn't make it clear that the snowmen were on the HARDCORE daily quest. It can't be made easy and be a long term thing. Hardcore has to mean something and even new people should know Hardcore is not for beginners.

Re: instadeath.

Now that it's over. I would kill the two in the first two squares as you come in. They respawned fast. The first one was night div (grey), and even on my earth div monk it was fairly easy to kill even though i missed most of my attacks. The next one south was storm div(white) and hit for 145 on me s...

Re: Drakebloods need love?

(Contextual Backstory) When we created drakeblood we based them on a certain thought process. I won't bother getting into the Lore of how they were created, but they were meant to be weak against magic but rugged and tough in combat. In fact, that was one of the major selling points of the race, no ...
