I know they say there's no such thing as a bad idea, but this is a bad idea.

Re: What the FF? (Faeriefire in 1v1 events)

To be quite honest, the KoTH where i won the streak and event (3 weeks ago) is the first time i actually bothered with the FF strat and i reapplied upon fading. It crippled the 2 or 3 slayers i faced and i felt bad for it. No lie. But one application would have left them a fighting chance because th...

Re: What the FF? (Faeriefire in 1v1 events)

Right but is it typically re-applied much? Well of course. If it isnt restricted it'll keep being applied. If you could prevent , or at least severely hinder, someone from killing you in an event and it's a part of the rules, would you not? Now, i AM in favor of a change or restriction of 1 per fig...

Re: What the FF? (Faeriefire in 1v1 events)

FF was too strong for sure. Question - how often was FF being reapplied in these events? I don't play an Elder so I don't really know but I'm curious if even with 1 application the fight is basically over by the time it wears off. Like rok higher wisdom is higher duration but harder to penetrate. A...

Re: What the FF? (Faeriefire in 1v1 events)

I mean ff is to keep slayers off your back but I think what we are getting at here is slayers stand no chance at all being ff'd. In ff current form its an instant win. Honestly I think druids in general could get re-balanced as a whole (not just ff) they are the tops in 1v1 pvp which isnt super imp...

Re: What the FF? (Faeriefire in 1v1 events)

I mean, i kinda feel like keeping slayers off your back is what FF was designed to do. My lizard slayer gets fried to death by casters. Lets restrict blast to twice every other round and make casters melee the other attacks. I mean, they do have power... Oh, and he also doesnt like being found. Lets...

What the FF? (Faeriefire in 1v1 events)

I don't agree with the total removal of Faeriefire from 1v1 events. I do, however, agree it should be restricted to perhaps 1 cast per fight. I understand it renders a slayer/assassin crippled and i sympathize with that and agree the use of ff without restriction is dominant against this one single ...
