Re: What's Needed
I don't have any ideas for audio yet, maybe in the future.

Armor
Armor needs to be reworked. I want to kind of do this sooner then later to prevent a mess with the dodge formula. RoKs armor pretty much granted dodge, and then a deflection chance. Someone with 110AC it would show you missing more constantly. I think it was meant to be an 'failed to pierce armor' m...

Re: The Bless Mechanic
Different from blessing, what if there was a special drop that can coat a weapon and grant lets say a small div bonus, like 2%. Only one can be coated on the weapon, and its similar to having lets say, a small div bonus. So you could have a 'fire scarab blade'. So kind of a mix of what we talked abo...

Re: To Vprof or not to Vprof.
Rather than gaining prof on a specific sword, maybe we can do prof on weapon types. For example, Prof on Swords, Axes, Blunts, etc... For it to make sense though, we'd have to add more weapon types. But overall I think we can put this on hold :) If that's the case yeah, could be possible. Needs to ...

Re: The Bless Mechanic
I think div weapons are fine, but I'm not wanting super values or anything, small bonuses are fine if they are ever added (I.E. 5% and such.) I think div weapons brought a bit of diversity, but this post really isn't about that so we can talk about them another day. I'm not a huge fan of giving a bi...

Re: To Vprof or not to Vprof.
I'll see about it in the future then, seems like overall its more of a bonus thing that doesn't really hurt if its in or not right now anyways and there is more important things to do.

Re: Physical Damage Formula
Also. Characters of the same level are obviously at 50% if the AGI is the same. Each level lower grants 2.5%(ish) more dodge or hit rate depending if you have the higher level or not. Two lings with 24 agi. The attacker being level 25, the defender being level 23. The hit rate is about 55%. Level 25...

Re: Physical Damage Formula
Looks good can't wait to see it in action! So you are thinking of changing armor to actually having armor reduce damage taken besides just absorbs and adding to your dodge chance some how? Also I kind of liked the duel weild giving an extra attack over more damage. Put more strategy in the game and...

Re: Physical Damage Formula
Qraw_damage = (enchantment + weapon_roll) * STR * level * class_modifier * divinity_bonus Examples here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Wi3qzpdDFeJZdyNOexdqt4T9OUIkYE1hwJZc08IlH0c/edit?usp=sharing It's with 20 str, scales decently. Does not include armor reduction yet. Think of it like atta...

To Vprof or not to Vprof.
Proficiency is how well you use a weapon. There was 4 levels (From novice to master) and it granted +4 bonus when mastered. The only benefit is has really is an RP aspect. I think it only really matters during the first few levels too. Most people just grinded on slimes afterwards to level it. Thing...
