Re: Drakebloods need love?
(Contextual Backstory) When we created drakeblood we based them on a certain thought process. I won't bother getting into the Lore of how they were created, but they were meant to be weak against magic but rugged and tough in combat. In fact, that was one of the major selling points of the race, no ...

Re: instadeath.
wasnt really about the snowmen as it is the feature. monsters like snowmen shouldnt attempt to attack player 1 and sit there charged up and kamehameHA!!!!!!!!! the innocent player 6 that walks by, not even initiating combat. as a whole its still faster to fight the red and green ones that dont dodg...

Re: instadeath.
I figured out the easiest snowmen to kill on the first night and found a nice spot to go back and forth between two of them if I'm solo. I'll admit, the mechanic can use some work to make it a less frustrating quest. That first night I ended up in the temple way too much. Casual players usually only...

Re: New Guild and Boss Systems.
I believe the problems with Ember retaining players can be boiled down to simple terms. People can't agree on the type of game they want it to be. I've heard a bunch of people say we need more pvp. Some people argue for more content, others say we need less to force more pvp. Right now the game is g...

Re: Righteous Hammer
I agree that it isn't optimal as a lvl 25 item. As to what power it would have if made into a lvl 20 item it would depend on how easy it is to get. A Beastslayer is much harder to come by than a Maul of Wrecking, hense why it is 15.5 average power over the 15 for MoW. Even if it were lowered to 14 (...

Re: 2 hander option for chanters.
To give perspective... tested this on build and a 16 str (19.5 powered) gnome chanter with a skullsplitter axe on neutral div does the following: You attack a lightning dummy with your skullsplitter axe for 155 points of damage! You attack a lightning dummy with your skullsplitter axe for 150 points...

Re: Events banning weapons
you can be snide about it or just plain ignorant. doesnt matter 8 classes suck because they cant win. no event weapon allows a stalker to not get destroyed by magic. stalker is a great class when no casters are in the event or you face none.. Sorry, it just seems to me that the answer people are gi...

Re: 2 hander option for chanters.
Spell damage based on equipped item is coming. They can't wear a shield so you can simply say already that a staff is 2 handed for them. If you are talking about letting them equip a 2hander like spectral scythe in order to melee that would be interesting but it would cut their magic damage down by ...
