1.5.1.6 Released

Postby NiteHawk » Tue Feb 14, 2017 8:48 am

Lots of small adjustments that took forever to do due to large coding changes.

viewtopic.php?f=10&t=93&p=652#p652

There is one thing I want to note and the reason why this topic will be stickied for 3 days.

I had to completely revamp the way sessions (your connection) and players work to support some things. However, this is only tested by a few people and can lead to some errors. If you experience any errors that you know didn't exist before, you need to post here or PM me on discord (Message me on discord even if I am offline) ASAP. I have NO clue how things will work out and I consider this build slightly unstable. If there is a serious problem that breaks everything we may need to rollback, but I backup daily and often every few hours the game will back up itself too.

I will eventually have some sort of way to at least tell how long your combat timer has left on logout, though it can reset. I am sure I can find a neat way of displaying this though eventually.

Thanks.

There are a couple small errors I am right now in the process of debugging so we are in debug mode for now.

The server might go down randomly at any time. I hope that not the case, but it is a forewarning for a couple days while I deal with it.

Haven't played my druid in a few weeks so I don't know if this is just a display bug or an actual mechanics bug, but on morph it still says I'm attacking with my weapon instead of "claws"

Morphed:
You attack a shadow assassin with your foreman's hammer and miss!

Relog should work, only a display issue.

Just had this scroll across the screen when unmorphing, wasn't eat/drinking, had just finished killing a mob.

Error in ProcessTickTimer(ID=1999, name=morph, amount=0, eIndex=-1, instanceIndex=18, instanceName=Kyclades, isPlayer=True, isNPC=False, isRoom=False, isItem=False, isQuest=False, exception=NLua.Exceptions.LuaScriptException: C:\EOServer\Scripts/Main/TickTimer.lua:47: invalid arguments to method call, stacktrace= at EOServer.clsLua.LogError(MethodBase method, Exception ex, Object[] values)

Yeah this is probably to do with the message handling I am working on fixing too. Will try to get it out by DT.
