This is a PVE, dungeon crawl that increases in difficulty. Potions and Mana are a must. Teams will be built by the captains, captains will be chosen at random. Be prepared to fight. Everyone will be awarded PP for this event.
Gauntlet is a procedurally generated area which increases in difficulty for each tier that reached. Each tier has a boss which must be defeated, and spawned enemies consist of both casters and melee, so team composition is critical.
I cannot tell you what it will be like in there, I don’t even know how they will generate. This is a major functionality test for future area design. Your map will disorient you. Your paths will move on you. You may randomly get sucked into a portal. Keep this in mind as your party presses forward.
The object of this game is to be the first team to make it through every tier and arrive back at the entrance. Once your team is back at the entrance, you have won. If no-one makes it to the end, the last team to die are the winners. Teams will comprised of either 3, 4, or 5 players. There will be either 2 or 3 teams.
Mana is Allowed.
Potions are Allowed.
All Items are Allowed.
Awards are based on participants, but keep in mind this is still very new. I will update this post with any changes found during the runs.
