Minor Profession (Max 2)
After an update, all minor professions can now receive a gathering bonus while collecting resources. Up to a max of 15% per tier.
There are three tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare.
(t1) Common is level 0-199
(t2) Uncommon is level 200-499
(t3) Rare is level 500-1000
The gathering bonuses are separate for each tier of a single minor profession. So you tier 1 mining bonus is separate from your t1 scavenging bonus. And your t1 mining bonus is separate from your t2 mining bonus.
Your Bonus starts as soon as you unlock a specific tier. Every single time you gain a skill level, your bonus will increase ever so slightly.
t1 will increase 0.075% per level.
t2 will increase 0.05% per level.
t3 will increase 0.03% per level.
Each up to a max of 15%. By the time you reach the next tier, you should reach the full 15% bonus to gathering resources.

Scavenging
Scavenging is broken up into two main categories of materials; Cloths and Leathers.
For cloth, you'll want to kill Humanoids, Greenskins, Demons, and Undead.
For leather, you'll want to kill Animals, Beasts, Insects, and Reptiles.
Each group is self contained.
Humanoids/greenskins/demons/undead will all drop the same pool of scavenging items per tier.
And animals/beasts/insects/reptiles will all drop the same pool of scavenging items per teir.
Here you can see a test performed to confirm. Broken down by each of the three tiers and by each type of mob in each group. You can see that all the mobs types of the same tier and group all had the same scavenging drops.
Note: This test was ran before the potential 15% bonus was implemented. So this is with 0% / no bonus to scavenging.
Note however that drops are percentage based. You can do the same run of mobs and get slightly different final numbers but the type of drops will be the same. In the following example the same group of T1 humanoids were done twice. You can see the drops are the same, but the amounts vary slightly
